It all started when…
Founded in 2014 as a catering company with a well-loved Airstream trailer, Honeybee Coffee Company has grown into a staple of the Knoxville coffee scene. Since opening our two current locations in 2017, one in South Knoxville and one in Farragut, we’ve been committed to serving exceptional coffee.
We source some of the finest coffees from small farms around the world, focusing on sustainable and ethical practices. Many of our coffees are organic or fair trade certified, and whenever possible, we build direct trade relationships that ensure farmers and workers are treated and compensated fairly.
At Honeybee, we see coffee as a platform to care for others. That care shows up in the quality of every cup, our service, and the intention behind our spaces. Whether you’re enjoying our coffee in one of our cafes, through our subscription service, or via one of our wholesale partners, we aim to make every sip memorable.
While we no longer brew our own beer, both of our locations offer a curated selection of local and craft beers, as well as canned options for those who want something a little different.
We’re guided by five core values—Integrity, Quality, Consistency, Hospitality, and Community—and inspired by the spirit of omotenashi (Japanese hospitality) and the idea of a “third place” where people gather, rest, and connect.
